4-H Snohomish Shooting Sports

The 4-H Snohomish Shooting Sports is a 4-H Community Riflery Club made up of 3 groups; Everett Sharpshooters, Marysville Marauders, and Kenmore Dizzy D's.

Our Snohomish County 4-H Rifle program teaches firearm/range safety along with Olympic-style smallbore (.22) position rifle shooting.

Most of our 4-H Rifle clubs use the CMP and NRA Qualification systems for keeping track of members’ skill levels. Our program is available to all kids between the ages of 8 (in third grade) and 19.

Right now, we have three rifle ranges in Snohomish County that participate in our County-wide 4-H riflery program. Use of club target rifles and facilities at these ranges is included with the shooting dues, which vary, depending on the club. The size of each club is limited to the available shooting lanes at each rifle range.

Shooting practice is weekly, usually October through May, with County 4-H matches once a month January through May. In June we have a County 4-H Rifle and Awards Picnic and in September, the Pacific Northwest Regional 4-H Shooting Match is at the Paul Bunyan Range near Puyallup.
